It was just announced today that Orange County, where Disneyland is located is moving into tier 4, which means that increased capacity for the theme park can now happen.

The park will move into 35% capacity from their current 25%. At this time, indoor dining at Disneyland is at 25% but moving into the next tier allows it to increase to 50%. Officials at Disneyland say that they are reopening more restaurants to help with the increase of visitors.

The county would have to maintain that threshold for at least two weeks before being able to move tier. Orange County and the state of California hope to remove all restrictions and tiers within the state by June 15th. This means that Disneyland Resort would be able to operate a t full capacity with fewer pandemic restrictions. While Disney officials have not made a statement as to when they hope to operate at full capacity, they have indicated that they are ready to increase capacity the moment they are able to.
