It was just reported that Meghan McCain will announce her departure from The View.
People close to her say this was her decision and she is not being pushed out, reports state that she will leave at the end of July with two years left on her contract.
She stated "I am here to tell you - all of my wonderful co-hosts and viewers at home - that this is going to be my last season here at The View. It's not easy to leave but I feel like this is the right decision for me at the moment.
