40 years later, ABBA is back with a new album and virtual tour!

In a global live-streamed event today, ABBA announced that after a 40-year hiatus they will release a new 10-track album, ‘Voyage," on Nov. 10. But that's not all. They've built their own theatre in London for a new digital concert experience starting May 27, 2022, that will take place at ABBA Arena, at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London.

The original members, Agnetha Fältskog, Anni-Frid Lyngstad, Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus — will be performing as digital avatars, aka "ABBA-tars" with a live 10-piece band. It's a hologram show with their voices coming out of their 1970's bodies!

The "ABBA-tars" were "created following weeks and months of motion-capture and performance techniques with the four band members and an 850-strong team from Industrial Light & Magic, the company founded by George Lucas, in what is the company’s first foray into music," the band said in its news release.

Check out their new song and ABBA-tars!
