Former American Idol contestant, Clay Aiken is running for a North Carolina seat in Congress.
He is running for a seat that is newly redrawn in the 6th Congressional District.
The seat represents Orange and Durham counties.
Rep David Price is retiring from the seat.
On Clay's website it says, Clay is a strong Democrat running for Congress to give a voice to those who want to bring sanity and civility back to the political conversation.
