Park guests tired of walking two-thirds of a mile to the front gate and then trekking back to their cars after a long day at the Disneyland Resort will soon have their wishes granted: The Disneyland trams are finally returning.
The parking trams that shuttle visitors between the Mickey and Friends and Pixar Pals garages and the front gates of Disneyland and Disney California Adventure will return on Feb. 23, according to Disney officials.
The trams will run from before park opening until after the parks close each day once they return without any mask or social distancing requirements, according to Disney officials.
Disneyland has been conducting maintenance on the parking trams and rehiring staff during the past few months. In recent weeks, Disney crews have installed new sensors at the tram loading/unloading stations while tram drivers have been making practice runs after hours, according to MiceChat.
