A tech guru has shared a little-known iPhone feature that could be a game-changer for anyone who's a bit stressed or those who suffer from tinnitus.
If you ever struggle to fall asleep at night, you might have turned to YouTube for help and stumbled across ten-hour videos of rain hitting a window or water in a stream.
The incredibly popular videos help people disconnect from their surroundings, and can be especially helpful for those who suffer from stress, or hearing conditions such as tinnitus.
But it turns out that Apple included the sounds into their software, and iPhone users can turn on the feature for free whenever they like, and a TikTok tech guru has explained how.
TikTok user HEIMADigital shared the trick in a video, and said the feature can be used to 'mask unwanted environmental noise'.
To turn on the feature, you have to open the Settings app, then go to Accessibility, scroll down to Audio/Visual, then tap 'background sounds'.
There you'll be able to turn on the feature and select which type of sound you would like, with options including ocean, rain, and stream.
