This sounds like science fiction, but it’s true: A company is building a super-luxurious residential ship that will allow passengers to live at sea permanently.
The residences start at $1 million for the ship's lifetime and run as high as $8 million. Residents must also pay all-inclusive fees which cover most meals, housekeeping, Wi-Fi, laundry service, gratuities, and more.
Those fees start at $61,500 per year for the smallest room.
Residents can live on the ship full time or simply use it as a vacation home and sublease it to others when they're not using it.
Kids can live there too because there is actually a school on board and a medical facility.
