Barista Wants Customers To Stop Using 'Hacks' To Get Cheaper Coffee Orders

There's a lot of talk on social media about fast food HACKS where you can use TRICKERY to get the items you want cheaper.

There was recently one that showed you how to get a Pumpkin Spice Latte for half price.

Well, a Starbucks employee on TikTok is asking you to STOP using hacks.

He says that a lot of drink hacks involve free add-ons that aren't supposed to add up to a full drink . . . like making a full latte from the free "splash of milk" option.

That puts the barista in a tough spot. If they top-off the drink . . . because they know the customer is using a hack and expects a full cup . . . they get in trouble with management for "using too much product" for what was ordered.

But if they DON'T top-off the drink, the customer complains because their cup wasn't full. Then, management tells the employee they need to "make it right." And then that process holds up the line for everyone.

He says, "Stop with the hacks. Stop making minimum wage workers do circles for you. Just get a Pumpkin Spice Latte."

Here's the complete article discussing all sides of the argument
