One line to the classic holiday song “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” asks to “bring us some figgy pudding.” The makers of SPAM Brand are doing just that this holiday season with their newest product variety.
Hormel Foods announced in a news release that they are launching a limited-edition SPAM Figgy Pudding — available while supplies last on the websites of Amazon, Walmart, and SPAM at a suggested retail price of $10. Each purchase consists of a two-pack of 12-ounce cans.
The SPAM Figgy Pudding features a “blend of warm spices and popular seasonal ingredients,” which the company says is a “savory, sweet and comforting treat,” that “evokes a sense of nostalgia and warmth” of holidays past.
And to be clear, the main ingredient in SPAM Figgy Pudding is still pork.
