Costco took this cake order way too literally and the result is hilarious

Costco Followed Cake Instructions A Little Too Literally

Costco customer Stephen Walker has gone viral after posting photos of his bakery order to Reddit that proves even the most detailed instructions can be misconstrued.

The photo shows Stephen's bakery order which asked for “a half-sheet of white cake with nothing but red frosting on the top and bottom of the perimeter.”

And the note to “please see back.” The back image includes a drawing of the request, which shows a rendering of the cake shape and requests: “No writing,"

"No Designs," and “Only Request Red frosting on the perimeter for top / bottom.”

When he received the cake, the decorator’s literal interpretation shows a plain white cake replicating what was drawn on the back of the order in the middle of the cake.

Have you ever had an order go completely wrong?
