Amazon Driver Arrested for Sex Assaults in Los Angeles County

An Amazon delivery driver, Fernando Barreto-Hernandez, 24, was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting victims while delivering packages in Los Angeles County. According to the Glendale Police Department, Barreto-Hernandez was involved in two separate incidents.

The first incident occurred in December 2024, when he allegedly assaulted an underage female in Los Angeles while on duty. The second incident took place on January 21, when a woman was reportedly assaulted near Brand Boulevard and Chevy Chase Drive in Glendale. Barreto-Hernandez was initially arrested for the Los Angeles incident and later taken into custody for the Glendale assault after a court appearance on February 21.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has filed both felony and misdemeanor charges against Barreto-Hernandez. He has been released on bond but remains under investigation as detectives seek additional victims who may not have yet come forward.

Barreto-Hernandez has worked for multiple delivery services, including Amazon, Amazon Flex, and FedEx. The Glendale Police Department urges anyone with information or who may be a victim to contact their Assaults Unit at 818-548-3106.
