What to Expect at Comic-Con 2025: Panels, Parties, and Pop Culture

San Diego Comic-Con 2025 is set to take over downtown July 24 through July 27, and with just days to go, organizers and studios are revealing a packed lineup of panels, offsite activations, and surprise appearances designed to thrill fans of every genre.

According to the official Comic-Con schedule, more than 150 panels will be spread across the four-day event, covering everything from superhero franchises and anime to horror, fantasy, and graphic novels. Some of the most anticipated sessions include updates from Prime Video, Warner Bros. Animation, AMC’s The Walking Dead Universe, and Paramount's Star Trek properties.

Fans can also look forward to anniversary celebrations for pop culture staples like Batman: The Animated Series and The X-Files, alongside in-depth conversations with the creative teams behind breakout shows like Fallout, The Boys, and Invincible.

In addition to the in-convention programming, San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter and surrounding areas will once again host immersive offsite experiences. Abbott Elementary is hosting A Very Abbott Block Party where pin collectors can grab a new pin and some snacks. While official announcements are still rolling out, returning favorites like immersive fan zones, themed pop-up cafes, and street-level installations are expected to be back in full force.
