CEO of Disney, Bob iger says the company's branded streaming service will be called "Disney Plus." We won't see Disney+ until later in 2019, but we WILL see programming from Disney, Marvel and Star Wars and Pixar.
There is already a website where you can keep checking back for more details on the new streaming service.
During the live announcement this morning (Thursday), Iger also revealed that Lucasfilm is working on a second Star Wars live-action series for Disney+. Iger said, "The series will follow the adventures of Rebel spy Cassian Andor during the formative years of the Rebellion and prior to the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story."
We can also expect a live-action series centered around Loki, the god of mischief, and Tom Hiddleston will reprise his role.
