Best 4th Of July Fireworks Displays In Southern California

OUR COUNTRY FESTIVAL: This year, the 4th of July festivities in kick off at the Silverlakes Complex in Norco at noon. For $10, you get to meander through local artisan vendors, full bars, art, family entertainment,food, fireworks and an awesome concert with Smash Mouth!

DISNEYLAND: The theme park is notorious for a nightly fireworks display; but for 4th of July, you better get there early if you'd like to see them. The park has been known to get so crowded that new visitors will not be allowed inside.

 

MARINA DEL REY: This show starts at 9pm and lasts for 20 minutes. Their entire show is set to music and you can watch the display from shore or on the water! This is a particularly busy one and parking starts to get full as early as 1pm.

CINESPIA AT HOLLYWOOD FOREVER: The Forever Cemetary has a summer film series that includes a fireworks/movie display!

ROSE BOWL: AmericaFest at the Rose Bowl is over 80 years old...they certainly have perfected the 4th of July festival celebration with an all day event that includes a concert and fireworks display. Plus, it's not over-the-top expensive.

 

A GRAND PARTY: All four blocks of Grand Park in DTLA become a 4th of July Block Party! This is family friendly...no alcohol allowed and bags will be searched.

NEWPORT BEACH: THE largest fireworks display takes place at the Newport Dunes Resort in Orange County. A dinner cruise is the best way to watch them. Plus, if you spend the day in this cute beach town, you can watch the Old Glory Boat Parade.

BIG BEAR: This is the 5th largest fireworks display in Southern California. If you want your bbq and fireworks at a bit of a cooler temperature, the mountains may be the perfect backdrop to celebrate America!

CATALINA: This island hosts an unusual 4th of July parade. Avalon has more golf carts than cards, so they host a Golf Cart Parade! Plus there is a bbq immediately afterwards and music at the casino.

 

POMONA: The KABOOM celebration takes place every year at the Pomona Fairplex where you get to take advantage of a Monster Trucks and Motorcross
