Text Between Strangers Starts New Thanksgiving Tradition!

I LOVE this story so much!  It's so innocent and adorable. 3 years ago, a woman named Wanda Dench sent a text that said, "Thanksgiving dinner is at my house on November 24th at 3pm. Let me know if you're coming. Hope to see you all."

She meant to send that to her grandchildren, but accidentally sent it to a 19-year old man named Jamal Hinton.  He responded, "Who is this?" To which she said, "Your grandma."

After exchanging selfies, the two realized they were not related but Jamal STILL asked if he could come over!!

"You not my grandma. Can’t I still get plate tho?” Hinton asked.

“Of course you can. That’s what grandma’s do...feed everyone one," Dench replied.

3 years later... their friendship is still going strong! Look at these pics below. I love it!!! Apparently last year Wanda told the Arizona Republic: “For him to continue with the relationship, I’m just really pleasantly surprised. We’re more of extended family and, best of all, friends.”
