I can not get enough of this story!!
In June, a man in San Jose, CA named Robert Moore was turning 100. His daughter, Alison, knew he loved dogs- everywhere he went, he wanted to pet them. So, she decided that wherever they went for his birthday, dogs needed to be there.
In addition to a family dinner, Alison put out a notice on NextDoor and Facebook inviting people to a "Pet Parade" on June 17th, Robert's 100th birthday. She said he was going to be sitting outside in a chair in front of their house that afternoon, and people were welcomed to bring their dogs over for a cuddle or pet. She expected maybe 20 or 30....but HUNDREDS showed up!!
And not only that- they showed up to PARTY. Balloons. Costumes. Signs. The entire community came together and it was awesome. Watch the video below to see more!
