Before our precious babies are even born, we worry. About whether or not we are fit to be parents, whether or not they will get the best opportunities, whether or not they will make friends...and the list goes on. You probably said more than once "I just hope they have 10 fingers and 10 toes!"
Well you aren't alone. And the kicker, according to a recent study out of Pennsylvania State Universtity, that worry...never goes away.
Us parents worry about our kids well into adulthood and even lose sleep over it. In this study that followed 186 heterosexual couples, we learn that moms get an average of 6.66 hours of sleep at night and dads get only slightly more, with an average of 6.69 hours. The stress of worrying about our kids is making us lose sleep at night! Read the entire study, here. And then go take a nap. You deserve it!
