The Ruby Dooby Foundation is a foundation created by Ruby's Diner that is dedicated to the health and well being of children.
The idea behind the Ruby’s Diner restaurant was inspired by an amazing woman, Ruby Cavanaugh. Ruby was a child of the great depression as well as a card-carrying member of the greatest generation. With her childhood years spent in the midwest and her teens spent here in Los Angeles, Ruby grew into a grounded yet modern woman whose beauty was literally inside and out. That grace, beauty, and style was woven into her every activity which made her beloved by so many through the years.
