Every year my family organizes and hosts a fundraiser for ALS Research in the honor and memory of my brother, Ernie. The EF Wallengren Hoopfest will be held this year on Saturday, May 15th at Calabasas High School starting at 8am.
You can register to play, volunteer, donate, or view the silent auction, which is open until Saturday, May 18th at 3pm.
At Dreams Don’t Die, we celebrate the life and times of Ernie Wallengren. His struggles,optimism, and commitment are what drive us to reach out to ALS patients all across the United States.We share his dreams and his vision -- a cure for ALS -- and carry on his campaign.
This event and cause is so important to me and my entire family. Even my mom got in on the action the summer when the Ice Bucket Challenge was taking over social media. Check out her video and pledge.
