These Are The Best Burgers In Los Angeles!

When it comes to living in Los Angeles, there's so many choices to get a good burger!

One common argument we often face is "who has the best burger?"

Well lucky for us these top chefs decided to share what they think is the best burger in Los Angeles!

Check out the list below:

Belcampo Meat Co.

Belcampo Meat Co. is located at 8053 W. 3rd Street., Los Angeles. Chef Ludo Lefebvre particularly loves the The Fast Burger with Broccolini.

He said, “The meat is delicious and organic, which is so nice to find, plus the onions, cheese, and lettuce make truly the perfect ‘fast’ burger.” He orders the double burger made from freshly ground beef shaped into two thin patties and topped with house-made American cheese, lettuce, red onions, and tomato.

HiHo Cheeseburger

HiHo cheeseburger is located at 1320 2nd Street, Santa Monica.

HiHo only features one type of beef, which is prime Wagyu that is 100 percent grass fed. There are two types of cheeseburgers, the Classic and the HiHo, which has the added benefit of mustard-grilled patties. 

Chef Akasha Richmond says the Vegan Burger is the best! The vegan burger is crafted out of black beans and brown rice. It’s mustard-grilled and it gets an extra kick from a hit of cayenne pepper. Chef Akasha says what makes the burger is the house-made bread, butter pickles, and caramelized onion jam. She said to order The Vegan Burger with French Fries and Chocolate Shake.

Irv's Burgers

Irv's Burgers is located at 7998 Santa Monica Blvd., West Hollywood.

Liam O’Keefe of London’s Bleecker Burger says Irv’s old-school double cheeseburger is his favorite! He said, “It is a really classic American burger, like nothing you would eat in England.” He said to order the Double Cheeseburger with Chili Cheese Fries.

The Apple Pan

The Apple Pan is located at 10801 Pico Blvd. Los Angeles.

Chef and owner of Animal in Los Angeles says his favorite is the steak burger. He says it's not too thick of a patty and it's topped with iceberg lettuce, pickles, mayonnaise, and the house special sauce on a grilled fluffy bun. He said to order the Steak Burger and Pecan Pie.

Father's Office

Father's Office is located at 1018 Montana Ave., Santa Monica.

Famous chef Curtis Stone said to order The Office Burger with Garlic-Parsley Frites. The burger comes with caramelized onions, arugula, Maytag blue cheese, a garlic-butter toasted bun, and that’s that. There's a no substitutions whatsoever” policy.

Kali

Kali is located at 5722 Melrose Ave., Los Angeles. 

Chef Suzanne Tracht's favorite burger is only served at lunch time. She said, “They use ground prime Holstein from Flannery Beef, and I like my burger at a perfect medium-rare. It comes with an awesome buttermilk-rosemary bun that’s made in-house, cheddar, caramelized onions, crispy fingerling potatoes, and house-made pickles.” The order is a Dry Aged Beef Burger with Fingerling Potatoes and Pickles.

Bill's Burgers

Bill's Burgers is located at 14742 Oxnard St., Van Nuys.

Chef Kris Yenbamroong said, "There’s only one order here, a quintessential L.A. cheeseburger." It's white bread bun, iceberg lettuce, tomato, chopped onions, mayo, pickles, American cheese, and a nice char on the thin patty. The Order is a Cheeseburger with Chips.

Everson Royce Bar

Everson Royce bar is located at 936 E. 7th St., Los Angeles.

James Beard award-winning chef Matt Molina, creates his burger patty from prime beef chuck, topped with Tillamook cheddar and Dijonnaise on a buttered egg brioche bun. Housemade dill pickle spears come on the side.

The order is The Single Burger and Smoky Potato Taquitos.

Umami Burger

Umami burger is located at 1520 North Cahuenga Blvd., Los Angeles.

Umami has become famous for its toppings, specifically a powder sprinkled on its patties that’s made from porcini mushrooms, oven-dried tomatoes, and a Parmesan crisp all tucked inside the bun. The must try order is Umami Burger with Cheesy Potato Tots.

In-N-Out

In-N-Out is located at 13850 Francisquito Ave., Baldwin Park, plus hundreds of locations in California.

Although not officially on the menu, order it and get a mustard-cooked patty topped with a mixture of caramelized onions, Thousand Island dressing, and pickles. The go-to order at In-N-Out is an Animal-Style Cheeseburger and Fries with Pickled Peppers and Neapolitan Shake.

Crossroads Kitchen

Crossroads Kitchen is located at 8284 Melrose Ave., Los Angeles.

Crossroads is a vegan restaurant and it was the first place in L.A. to showcase the Impossible Burger. The burger is topped with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles. The go-to order is the Impossible Burger with Truffle Fries.

Howard's Famous Bacon & Avocado Burgers

Howard's Famous Bacon & Avocado burgers is located at 11127 Venice Blvd., Culver City.

This burger joint has California written all over it. They serve a flat patty served with creamy avocado and crisp bacon, plus ranch dressing and spicy peppers. The must try order is The Famous Burger with Onion Rings.
