Lady Gaga is on the cover of Vogue's October issue and she talks everything from working with Bradley Cooper in the film "A Star Is Born," #MeToo, and being in music for a decade!
Gaga stars in the upcoming film "A Star Is Born" alongside Bradley Cooper and told Vouge, "Bradley sings from his gut, from the nectar! I knew instantly: This guy could play a rock star.”
She continued saying, “And I don’t think there are a lot of people in Hollywood who can. That was the moment I knew this film could be something truly special.”
She said that the second she saw him she felt as if she knew him her whole life!
Gaga also talked about the #MeToo movement and the sexual assault she went through at the young age of 19.
She said, “I feel like I’ve been an advocate but also a shocked audience member, watching #MeToo happen. I’m still in disbelief. And I’ve never come forward and said who molested me, but I think every person has their own relationship with that kind of trauma.”
During her interview with Vogue, she got the chance to take a moment to reflect on her career over the past decade.
“I would just say that it’s been a non-stop whirlwind. And when I am in an imaginative or creative mode, it sort of grabs me like a sleigh with a thousand horses and pulls me away and I just don’t stop working.
She continued, “You make friends, you lose friends, you build tighter bonds with people you’ve known for your whole life. But there’s a lot of emotional pain, and you can’t really understand what it all means until ten years has gone by.”
Lady Gaga's October issue of Vogue is available on news stands on September 25th.
