We are so sad to wake up to this awful news about our friend, Chris Burrous. Chris was an anchor on KTLA 5 News in Los Angeles and known for his fun segment, "Burrous Bites." We'll always remember the time Chris surprised Ellen K on her practice first practice show on KOST 103.5. It was a Sunday morning and Ellen K came in to familiarize herself with the KOST studio. Producer Darlene e-mailed Chris Burrous on the side and asked if they would mind surprising her. To everyone's surprise, the hotline rings and it was them! See below:
Chris Burrous was found unconscious in a motel in Glendale. His death is still being investigated. He will be deeply missed here in Los Angeles. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and daughter. We are all mourning his passing. Chris was only 43, soon to be 44 on January 11th.
