Summer has barely reached the halfway point, and I’m already thinking of “…the most wonderful time of the year!” Costumes, frights, candy, and every excuse to act like a kid again!? It’s never too early to celebrate Halloween, right?
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort has just been announced for 2019 - starting September 6th and running through my birthday – October 31st! Some fan favorites are returning to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, and a few new “bumps in the night” will be showing up as well. Main Street U.S.A. in Disneyland will be gourd-geous once again as the Main Street Pumpkin Festival returns for another year featuring the totally Instagram worthy giant Mickey Mouse Jack O’ Lantern in Town Square.
Also, the Haunted Mansion is celebrating it’s 50th anniversary this year! Expect some fun & unique undead dealings to celebrate that milestone. And the night time multimedia spooktacular, Halloween Screams, originally viewable only during Mickey’s Halloween Party, will be viewable by everyone, for the first time, on select nights in Disneyland.
Oogie Boogie, from The Nightmare Before Christmas, will be taking over Disney California adventure once again! Cars Land will be celebrating with Haul-O-Ween. And Monsters After Dark will be back at Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!
Dia de los Muertos festivities will be in full swing thanks to A Musical Celebration of Coco with the Grammy® Award winning Mariachi Divas. And this year, a special Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party will happen after hours on select night in Disney California Adventure.
Needless to say it’s gonna be a hellishly good time at the Disneyland Resort this fall! You better believe we’ll keep you up to date with all the devilishly delicious details as we find out more!
