Dodger Stadium will be undergoing a $100 million renovation this upcoming off-season.
The renovation will provide a new center field plaza with elevators and bridges that will connect the outfield pavilions to the rest of the stadium.
Over two acres, the center field plaza will also have food, a beer garden, two sports bars, a children's play area, a space for live pregame and post-game music.
Wow! Sounds like baseball season is about to get even better... if that was even possible!
If you're a big fan, you'll be able to watch the game from above a new batters eye in straightaway center field from standing positions surrounding the seating areas.
When you first enter the plaza, it will have a Jackie Robinson statue, which will be relocated from the left fields plaza.
According to Stan Kasten, who is the Dodgers president and chief executive, he states that "It's going to act like a two-acre tailgating area pre and post-game!"
This sounds like it's going to be a good time!
