Sometimes a fight isn't worth it, especially for this guy!
This man went a little too far trying to fight a speeding ticket. Richard Keedwell got a speeding violation for going 35 in a 30 mile-per-hour zone, which occurred back in 2016.
At the time, the fine was only $120! Which isn't terrible, but according to Keedwell, it was. He strongly felt that there was no way he was speeding and then hired investigators to help him appeal his ticket.
After multiple court appearances, two appeals, and attorney fees, he ended up spending $36,982! Instead of just paying the $120 ticket, he paid all of that money for the investigation.
Keedwell said he does regret the amount of money spent, he just wanted justice.
Yikes! Sometimes it's just better to except that you were in the wrong.
