The Astros apologized for stealing signs. The two team captains Alex Bregman and Jose Altuve took the podium and made an official statement of apology on behalf of the Houston Astros. "We’re not going to do anything to the players,” Houston owner Jim Crane said at a news conference where Astros players apologized for the team's sign-stealing scheme.
