Maybe you've been going for a drive to pass time during quarantine. Especially along the Pacific Coast Highway, you can just listen to some music and forget about things for a little while.
If you have been driving around, you might want to be careful.Three police agencies ticketed 186 motorists over the weekend who were speeding or revved up their exhausts along PCH in South Orange County.
Some motorists were speeding through the coastal towns. Laguna Beach residents even complained to the police department.
Due to the high number of tickets that were issued along PCH, Crystal Cove State Park, the CHP plans to increase their presence there.
A study shows that the number of motorists caught going faster than 100 mph was 87% more during the first month of California's stay-at-home orders.
