Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Is Now Set To Go Virtual

If your Thanksgiving Day tradition includes waking up and watching the parade, it's going to look a little different this year.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the parade will be reimagined this year. Officials stated that the parade will take place over two days and will be recorded. This year's staging will be cut down on 75% of the usual parade participants. Anyone who is involved will continue to practice social distancing protocols.

The balloons will now have a place in the show, but will be rigged on vehicles instead of being carried by people. There will also be no high school and college marching bands this year.
