Mr. Darby is a high school principal during the day and stocks shelves at the local Walmart at night. The money he earns from his 2nd job all goes towards helping his students in need. The pandemic hit his students and their families at home really hard. Mr. Darby knew he had to do something when he heard about one of his students sleeping under a bridge, homeless. And another student sleeping in his family’s car after losing their home. His only request in exchange to helping his students is to help others and give back when they're able to.
Principal Darby is an optimist but he’s also a determinist and he says he knows things will get better for his students who work hard and keep their determination. He’s so proud of his students and believes in all of them. Now, Walmart wants to give back for the principles of the Principal that have not gone unnoticed. Mr. Darby was presented with a $50,000 check to continue helping others. Thank you Mr. Darby!
