As of March 1st, certain essential workers such as teachers will become eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccinations.
The next group of people in Los Angeles County that are eligible includes educators and child-care workers, food and agriculture workers and law enforcement personnel and other emergency responders. According to Barbara Ferrer, LA County Public Health Director, she stated "We anticipate opening up many different sites and setting up special, what we call closed sites for all these sectors on March 1."
Over 1.3 million people fall into those groups.
