If you are wanting to plan a trip to Hawaii, here's some good news for you!
Vaccinated travelers may be able to visit Hawaii soon with a digital vaccine passport. As of right now, vaccinated travelers would receive a digital code that would allow them to travel throughout the state. The program is set to begin on March 1st with the first participants fully vaccinated health care workers. According to the governor, Josh Green, he is very hopeful that by April 1st any Hawaii resident that has been vaccinated will be able to travel inter-island.
This could possibly lead to mainland travelers added to the program by May 1st. Hawaii visitors can skip the mandatory quarantine if they have a negative COVID-19 test from a certified lab 72 hours prior to travel.
