It has just been announced that California theme parks can reopen April 1st under updated guidelines from the state's health department.

All California theme parks have been closed since March 2020 under COVID-19 health and safety reopening guidelines issued by the state. Newsom's new administration's "Blueprint Refresh" now allows Disneyland, Universal Studios Hollywood, Knott’s Berry Farm, Six Flags Magic Mountain, SeaWorld San Diego, Legoland California and other California theme parks to reopen as early as April 1st.

Capacity will be limited to 15% for parks in the red tier and the capacity will rise to 25% once a county progresses to the orange county tier and 35% upon reaching the yellow tier. As of right now attendance will be limited to in-state visitors only, there will also be no indoor dining and limits on indoor rides.
