Walt Disney World is about to change their mask policy before your next visit.
Face coverings are required for all guests two years of age or older. Cast members must also wear masks, even if they are vaccinated, they must be worn at all times, except when dining or swimming. Now, the theme park company says you may temporarily remove your face covering while actively eating, drinking or taking an outdoor photo. You must be stationary and maintain appropriate physical distancing. The new policy will begin on Thursday, April 8th.
You will still see signs up with the official guidelines requiring masks to be worn when taking photos, PhotoPass photographers were actively asking guests to remove masks for photos.
