Imagine calling animal control on a croissant?!
That's exactly what this one woman did! A woman in Poland ended up calling animal control on a croissant, but to be fair when she made the call to Krakow Animal Welfare Society, she didn't know it was a pastry. She was convinced that the creature she saw lurking in her lilac tree outside was some sort of iguana. The woman told officers "People aren’t opening their windows because they’re afraid it will go into their house."
The officers doubted that it was a reptile and figured it might be someone's pet that escaped or has been abandoned. They soon discovered that it was a classic French pastry hanging in the branches!
Someone must have tossed it out their window to feed birds or other critters.
