You can expect busy roads and airports for July 4th Holiday travel. More than 47 million Americans are expected to drive or fly somewhere over the 4th of July holiday according to a new report from AAA. Officials say that travel volume is a full recovery to pre-pandemic levels.
According to AAA, they predict that road trips will be the dominant means of travel. Even though gas prices are the highest they've been in seven years, about 91% of holiday travel is expected to be by car compared to the 3.5 million who plan to fly around the 4th.
