The Cleveland Indians have officially re-named their team to the Cleveland Guardians.
This morning, the team made the announcement with a promotional video that was narrated by Tom Hanks. The new name is inspired by The Guardians of Traffic sculptures that line the city's Hope Memorial Bridge. It was chosen from a list of more than 1,200 potential names.
Back in December, the team announced that they would change their name after this season. They will officially become the Guardians starting next year.
