September 15th marked the beginning of National Hispanic Heritage Month and Los Angeles Controller Ron Galperin wants you to celebrate in Los Angeles. Go anywhere in Los Angeles and you can see the Latinx influence in the people and places you visit on a daily. Why not take a tour of some of the most influential Latinx cultural spots in our city to celebrate? Featured on his list are mainly publicly-owned sites, that the city has designated as "Historic-Cultural Monuments". Some of our local favorites featured include; Olvera Street, Chavez Ravine, Fourth Street Bridge, and Mariachi Plaza. Grab the family and go celebrate the people that make this city what we know and love.
National Hispanic Heritage Month ends October 15th.
