Actor Timothée Chalamet shared a first look at his take on Willy Wonka for the upcoming musical film "Wonka" on Instagram over the weekend.
"The suspense is terrible, I hope it will last," Chalamet captioned his photo which also serves as a nod to Gene Wilder's line in the 1971 original film "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory."
While there's not much information on the plot of the movie, according to NBC, Chalamet’s representatives confirmed that he would be singing and dancing in “Wonka.”
The upcoming film will be directed by British director Paul King and is expected to hit theaters on March 17, 2023.
