For everybody asking where was Samantha Jones in the reboot of Sex In The City's recent HBO Max release And Just Like That... Kim Cattrall will be playing the character of future Sophie as she opens the trailer with the words, “This is the story of how I met your father.”
Sophie will be played by Hilary Duff as she will take over for the role of Ted played by Josh Radnor in the original HIMYM.
Duff will be telling her son the story of how she met his father as she flashbacks to the year 2021 where Sophie and her best friends are in the midst of figuring out who they are and how to navigate love in the age of dating apps.
If that isn't enough nostalgia for you, you can see Josh Peck make a cameo as Duff's possible love interest.
