According to the 2021 General Social Survey, 26% percent of Americans ages 18+ didn't have sex once over the past 12 months.
Many believe the pandemic is to blame but, the last two times the survey was conducted adults also said they didn't have sex once in the past year were 2016 (23%) and 2018 (23%).
CNN reports some of this has to do with fewer people getting married and an aging population.
