As the US Open continues, (August 23 - September 12) we are learning to make their famous cocktail as we watch from home. The US Open's infamous drink is so popular that you can even buy a canned version, however it's only available for fans in New York but don't worry we got the full recipe!
Ingredients:
- 1.25 oz Vodka
- 3.0 oz Fresh Lemonade
- 0.5 oz Raspberry Liqueur
- Frozen honeydew melon ball skewer for garnish
Directions: Chill your glass in the freezer. Remove your glass and fill it with ice. Measure and add vodka to your glass. Top with a measured amount of fresh lemonade. Measure and add raspberry liqueur. Garnish with a skewer of 1 or multiple frozen honeydew melon balls (tip: place honeydew in the freezer before using the melon baller). Cheers!
The Honey Deuce gets its name from its honeydew garnish that looks like mini tennis balls and of course deuce is a play on the tie score of 40-40 in a match.
