The faculty of Lake Superior State University in Michigan released their annual list of words that deserve to be banished from our vocabularies over "misuse, overuse, and uselessness".
These are their 2023 banished words and phrases:
- GOAT (greatest of all time)
- Quiet quitting
- Gaslighting
- Moving forward
- It is what it is
