Eggs-stra eggs-pensive eggs! Prices for eggs have went up nearly 50% and it's all because of the bird flu! The good news is you are safe to eat an egg laid by a sick hen with the bird flu. The bad news is most chickens won't make it if they become infected. It's been the worst outbreak in U.S. history, with nearly 60-million poultry birds infected. I went to the market yesterday after work to buy eggs and I was flabbergasted! I was told by a couple of friends to check out a local egg farm and I'll find them cheaper. Look out Billy's Egg Farm in Chino, I'm headed your way!
