California Is Done Doing Business With Walgreens For Eliminating Rx Pill 💊

According to a fiery tweet from Governor Gavin Newsom, the state of California is DONE doing business with Walgreens! The decision comes days after the pharmacy chain said it will no longer dispense Mifepristone – a prescription med used to terminate pregnancy. Newsom says the state will avoid working with ANY company that, quote, “cowers to extremists and puts women’s lives at risk.”

In other California news, former “Boy Meets World” star Ben Savage is running for Congress – in our state’s 30th Congressional District. He wants to fill the seat being vacated by Adam Schiff. If elected, Savage would rep West Hollywood, Burbank and Pasadena. Ben says he wants to, quote, “help move us forward – unhindered by political divisions and special interests.” The general election will be on Nov. 5th of next year.
