Fans are freaking out because they’re having trouble getting their Spider-Man: No Way Home tickets!

Tickets for the highly anticipated movie went on sale at 12:01 am on Monday (November 29), but the AMC Theatres app was not working when fans tried to get on to buy tickets.

One reason that many fans were rushing to get their tickets at AMC is because of an exclusive NFT offer that is available. Sony Pictures and AMC are collaborating to offer members of AMC Theatres’ Stubs Premiere & A-List, and AMC Investor Connect an exclusive Spider-Man NFT with an opening day advance ticket purchase or reservation. Only the first 86,000 people who reserve their tickets will receive the NFT. Once fans were able to access the app, many were hit with wait times as large as 45 minutes to get tickets.

Box office analysts say it is a positive sign for the movie theater industry. Spider-Man: Now Way Home could top $100 million during its December debut, but this high demand for tickets is even more encouraging for the film’s opening.
