Michael B. Jordan had a red carpet moment to remember.
As he was being interviewed by radio host Lore'l, Jordan recalled how she called him "corny" in a podcast.
During the Creed III red carpet, Lore'l said, "We go way back, all the way back to Chad Science [Academy] in Newark."
Jordan replied, "Oh yeah, I was the corny kid, right."
Lore'l said she was "misquoted," but Michael said she called him corny.
Trying to move on, Lore'l said, "No you did not hear me say that! I said we used to make fun of the name, but yeah, he is obviously killing things out here."
Lore'l is right. She didn't call MBJ "corny" on the podcast, but she did co-sign another host saying Jordan seemed like a "nice, corny guy."
Lore'l said, "You know what’s so crazy? I went to school with Michael B. Jordan at a point in life, and to be honest with you, we teased him all the damn time because his name was Michael Jordan. Let’s start there, and he was no Michael Jordan. And he also would come to school with a headshot. We lived in Newark, that’s the hood.
