4th of July is right around the corner and Nancy of Bake House Bread Company is giving tips on making the perfect red, white, and blue holiday spread!

Some super creative ideas include: 

Red Elements 

  • Strawberries (whole and halved) 
  • Raspberries 
  • Bakehouse Bread Company Cranberry Orange Bread (sliced in small chunks) 
  • Red M&Ms or jellybeans 

  

White Elements 

  • Bakehouse Bread Company Pineapple Coconut Bread (sliced in small chunks) 
  • Yogurt-covered pretzels 
  • White chocolate squares or truffles 
  • Meringue cookies 
  • Vanilla bark or fudge chunks 

  

 Blue Elements 

  • Blueberries (serve in small bowls or scatter around, if large) 
  • Bakehouse Bread Company Wild Maine Blueberry Bread (sliced in small chunks) 
  • Blue raspberry gummies or sour belts 
  • Blue frosted cookies or cupcakes 
  • Blue macarons 
  • Blue sprinkles or candies 

 

Additional options: 

  

  • Dips: Include a small bowl of white chocolate sauce, cream cheese fruit dip, or vanilla yogurt. 
  • Flag Shape: Lay out red rows on top, white in the middle, and blue on one side with star-shaped treats. 
  • Star Power: Use a star cookie cutter on brownies, Rice Krispies treats, or melon slices. 
  • Textures: Mix soft, crunchy, creamy, and chewy items for variety. 
  • Garnish: Add fresh mint or edible flowers for a touch of green and elegance
